Hungerford: Remember Pearl Harbor 1942. Hideous snake with bloody fangs labeled Fifth Column is pictured wrapped around a Hawaiian tree nodding to a black sky.  Poster asserts that “the Jap snake struck hard because it was helped by dirty inside work …it can happen here!  Keep of eyes open and your ears cocked…report anything that looks queer.” The ‘fifth column’ is a term that originated in the Spanish Civil War to describe the importance of collaborators.   The poster’s claim is debatable.  Rare.  Zeman 52. 22×14 near mint.
