Description

Sommer Be a Pershing Patriot 1918. A stern General Pershing, who was a four star general at the time and commander of the A.E.F., is pictured looks down on a battle scene that shows an officer on horse back leading a charge. This sort of thing didn’t happen, but it makes for a rousing battle scene. Text is a patriotic pitch asking viewers to buy War Savings Stamps. Very rare, not in Library of Congress. 42×30 near mint, conservation backed.
