R. H. Klix Right on the Mark! c.1944. Tech sergeant, who still wears his steel helmet, back pack and watch, sights in on a distant target using an optical device attached to the side of a large caliber, mobile artillery piece. It seems probable that it would take a tech sergeant to operate such a sophisticated piece of equipment. It’s likely that he used his watch to time the precise moment for opening his artillery barrage. Very rare, new to us. 45×28. near mint, conservation backed.
