Morris American Expeditionary Forces. c.1919. Text consists of “A Soldier’s Creed” which is a poem extolling the purpose and determination of the individual soldier fighting in the AEF. A brief history of the 32nd Division and the battles in which it fought is also included. This poster has a folk quality to it that posters printed in larger print runs for the government do not. 16×13 near mint, conservation backed.
