Archille Mauzan Do Your Duty c.1917. Sensational interpretation of the Alfred Leete’s I Want You recruiting poster of Lord Kitchener, shows an Italian officer singling out recruits for immediate service. Several different versions of this commanding pose were printed in different countries, including James Montgomery Flagg’s American classic I Want You. 55×35 near mint, conservation backed.
