Jean Carlu Between the Hammer and the Anvil 1944. Swastika crushed between the hammer of the Allies Forces and the Anvil of the Free French. Poster designed and printed in the U.S. by famous expatriate French artist was distributed in Europe to strengthen the French resistance. 21×15 near mint, conservation backed.
