Ivanjan Our ABCs Goebbels Is Ugly and Nobody Can Top Him as Liar TASS 694 1943. Goebbels is pictured at his most arrogant standing triumphantly atop a prostrate Baron Münuhhausen (1720-1797) stabbing him with his barbed pen. After participating in engagements against the Swedes and Ottoman Turks Münchhausen returned to his native Germany and became an infamous as a teller of tall tales viz. riding on cannon balls, traveling to the moon. His outrageous stories were collected and published anomymously during his lifetime. The story was still being mined by Terry Gilliam in 1988. Very rare. 72×32 excellent, entirely linen backed.
