A. Holland Cabled Appeal for Drafts 1917/18. General Smuts Appeals for recruits much in the same vein as Kitchener’s famous I Want You. Smuts, a cautious general, was engaged in fighting the Germans in East Africa. In 40 years of business we have never had a poster of General Smuts. Super rare. 39×25 near mint, conservation backed.
