Hohlwein, Ludwig Reichskreigerbund 1939. Poster by Germany’s most acclaimed poster artist, urges World War I vets to join a veteran’s organization that was the paramilitary arm of a conservative party before falling under the control of the Nazi party. Hitler hated the conservatives; he blamed then for losing World War I. Very very rare. 25×17 excellent condition, conservation backed.
