John Falter Attack 1942. Just after spotters notify the bridge that the enemy has been sighted, a fighter revs up on a carrier flight deck. The year this poster was issued successful naval aviators reversed the tide of the war in the Pacific, inflicting irreparable damage to Japan’s offensive strength at Midway. 42×28 near mint, conservation backed.
