James Daugherty Come Along 1919. Swabbies on shore leave are pictured enjoying the exotic delights of far-off Peru. Delighted sailor is shown feeding a banana to a llama, another is seen holding a toucan. Colorful local garb and Peruvian pottery complete the very picture of an enchanted visit. Very hard to find. 40×30 near mint, conservation backed.
