Cushing: Mechanical Training c. 1919. Aircraft worker spins a Curtiss Jenny’s wooden prop. The Curtiss was a small American-built biplane which was used as a trainer with a puller propeller. A small number were built in 1915. Although the JN-4 was introduced in 1916, it wasn’t operational during World War I. Very scarce. 25×19 near mint, conservation backed.
