Description
Milton Bancroft Enlist in the Navy to Arms 1917. A muscular bugler sounds assembly as a convoy steams ‘over there’ under U.S. navy protection. The navy was tasked not only with troop transport and convoy protection but also with sinking U-boats and German surface raiders disguised as neutral merchantmen. Scarce lithograph. 25×39 near mint, conservation backed.
