Artist Unknown The United Nations Fights for Freedom 1942. Poster meant to boost stateside morale features Lady Liberty holding her torch above the flags of 26 countries that have banded together to fight the Axis nations during World War II. This poster was printed several years before the UN was proposed by the Allies at the Dunbarton Oaks Conference which took place between late August and early October of 1944. 30×20 near mint, conservation backed.
