Artist Unknown The Turning Point in the War 1918. Doughboys use rifles and machine gins to repulse a desperate German attempt to cross a bridge of the Meuse River. This fighting was part of the American victory at Chateau Thierry (May 1918) where the U.S. Army and Marine Corps decisively stopped the German advance of 1918. 25×30 near mint, conservation backed.
