Artist Unknown Save Waste Fats 1942. Poster shows a model housewife demonstrating the four-step process for preserving fats. Waste fat and grease is poured from the frying pan through a strainer into a clean can, then stored in a cool dark place before finally being sold to the butcher for recycling. Rendered fat provided glycerine for explosives. 28×20 near mint, conservation backed.
