Artist Unknown Our Dumb Friends League War! 1915. Poster solicits funds to support hospitals for wounded horses at the Front. Over a half million horses were killed during the war, their care was greatly abetted by charitable contributions to the Blue Cross. Text notes that the League was officially recognized by the French government. Very scarce. 30×20 near mint, conservation backed.
