Artist Unknown: Exhibition of War Booty in Posen 1917. Unusual and rare poster pictures a seasoned veteran standing in front of a war torn city in an advertisement for an exhibition of war booty in Posen. Spectal figures are shown circling the ruins in the background. Exhibitions were held in Germay, Austria and several American cities to sustain morale with the implication that captured war matériel was equated with winning the war.
