Zulawski: Poland First to Fight 1939. Indeed they were. Topped by the national emblem, Poland’s bullet- riddled standard still flies. Regardless of how desperate their situation became, the Poles never stopped fighting. They had all too much practice with warfare starting with their struggle against the Teutonic Knights five hundred years earlier. 29×20 near mint,conservation backed.
