James Montgomery Flagg Stage Women’s War Relief 1918. Flagg portrays a beautiful figure in a white nurses dress and cap as she discarding an extravagant fur lined red cloak for the wartime emergency. She flanked by stage curtains and stands behind footlights imploring the viewer with an appropriately dramatic gesture. 30×22 near mint, conservation backed.
