Description
Abram Games: Army 1945. A British soldier’s face is drawn in a rich and elegant silhouette conveying an inscrutable monumentality which is only matched by the huge stone head carvings on Easter Island. This unique design was Games’ last poster before war’s end. After VE day the War Office destroyed all remaining Games posters, in stock making them now extremely rare. This happened despite the fact that Games was the most renowned and famous artist in Great Britain, 30×20 near mint, conservation backed.
