Description

Poster derides the first anniversary of the Allied- Italian armistice and the antifascist Italian government led by King Victor Emmanuel and Badoglio who are caricatured chipping ineffectually at a fasces, the symbol of a Roman magistrate’s power to rule and execute. It’s also found on the dime. 40×28 Near mint, conservation backed.
