Reynaud Keep Us Flying! 1943. Tuskeegee Squadron hero Major R. Diez featured on a bond drive poster. He has just joined the 99th Pursuit Squadron of Black aviated established at Tuskeegee College in the spring of 1942. Diez went on to fly 93 successful missions with the 99th over North Africa and Italy, including several in which he downed German Luftwaffe aircraft in his P=40 Tomahawk. The famed ‘Black Eagles’ flew both air combat and close ground support missions in North Africa, Italy and France. 28×20 near mint, conservation backed.
