Martin Strong in the Strength of the Lord 1942. Title taken from a famous speech given by Vice-President Henry Wallace in 1942 to the Free World Association in New York City. Grounded in Christian references, Wallace laid out a positive vision for the war beyond the defeat of the Nazis.
