Description
Knirr: Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Führer 1938. Painting based on Heinrich Hoffman photo taken in 1935/36 depicts Hitler standing in a uniform of his own design. Hitler approved of this painting. It was once ubiquitous but new very very hard to find, especially in the larger full size. Most were destroyed in the post war period when owning Nazi images was against the law. 45×33 near mint, conservation backed.
