Cornwell: Better Than a Rabbit’s Foot c. 1942

Size: 22×22

Dean Cornwell Better Than a Rabbit’s Foot c. 1942. A four man crew is shown crowded around a Sherman tank to admire the artistry of a crewmember drawing an 18th century carriage with chalk. The aristocratic carriage is still the elegant logo of Fisher Body, a division of Geeral Motors. Although Fisher churned out over 16,000 tanks during the war, this is the only poster we have ever seen that is specifically for Fisher Body. Very very rare, square format highly unusual. 22×22 near mint, conservation backed.
