Claudius Stop the Black Market 1944. During the occupation Dutch cities had a controlled food distribution system. A black market quickly sprung up. Artist depicts a huge black devil wearing a gold scepter reaching his talons down to ensnare a crowd of women and children. Very very rare. 29×20 near mint, conservation backed.
