Artist Unknown: North American B-25 Bomber. Poster pictures B-25 seen from above, with lines pointing out components made the the Bendix Corporation: gun turrets, carburetors, main shock structs and nose strut. Bendix issued this rare poster with the subtitle “products made in this plant serve “the invisible crew” of this mighty war bird. The B-25 was the only plane named for a specific individual, the controversial Colonel Billy Mitchell. Mitchell was an outspoken advocate for the power of the Army Air Force. He was tried and convicted of insubordination. 17×22 near mint.
